If you are exploring faith, if you're a skeptic with some questions, or if you're a believer who just wants to learn how to share your faith more effectively, we have a class for you! It’s called the 321 Course, and everyone is welcome.
This course features interactive videos presented by Glen Scrivener. It is a wonderful opportunity to gather in small groups to engage in thoughtful conversation in a very friendly environment.
Interested? Grab a coffee and bring a friend. We’ll be meeting on Sundays: April 12th, 19th, and 26th from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in the Fellowship Hall. We look forward to seeing you there.

CITY MISSIONS
What a blessing it is to partner with such an important ministry like City Missions! We are so proud of our The Bridge Community Fellowship family for showing up with generous hearts and open hands. Because of you, so much warm clothing will be used to care for our neighbors experiencing homelessness in the Plano area.
We’re praying that the Lord would multiply this gift, use every box to bring comfort and hope, and continue the incredible work being done through City Missions. Grateful beyond words for a church that lives out the love of Christ in such tangible ways.

Getting the House Ready for Easter 2026
Easter is one of the most meaningful seasons in the life of our church. It’s the time when we proclaim that Jesus is alive, hope is real, and new life is possible. As we prepare our hearts for that celebration, we also have an opportunity to prepare our house.
Beginning Friday, February 13, we are launching a church-wide project we’re calling “Getting the House Ready for Easter.” Over the course of two weeks, we will be renewing the sanctuary floors and refreshing our space so that it is ready to welcome our church family, guests, and our community during the Easter season and beyond.
This is a big project but it’s also a meaningful one. And it’s truly an all-hands-on-deck moment for The Bridge.
🛠️ What’s Happening
We’ll be refinishing the sanctuary floors with a beautiful new stained concrete finish. This involves several phases: clearing the space, prepping and staining the floors, allowing time for curing, and then moving everything back in and decorating for Spring and Easter.
To make this possible, we’ll need volunteers serving in different ways, whether that’s lifting, taping, cleaning, decorating, or helping with technical prep.
📅 Key Project Dates & How You Can Help
Phase 1: Move-Out & Seal-Up
-
Friday, Feb 13 – Moving pod delivered
-
Saturday, Feb 14 (9:30–11:00 AM) – Heavy Lifters clear the sanctuary of everything not needed for Sunday.
-
Sunday, Feb 15 (after service) – Chairs and tables moved into the pod directly after service.
-
Detail & Prep Team tapes and seals equipment to protect from dust
Phase 2: Floor Prep & Staining
-
Mon, Feb 16 – Thurs, Feb 19 – Grinding, sanding, and daily cleanup
-
Friday, Feb 20 (2:00 PM) – Floor stain applied
⚠️ Important Note: Once staining begins, the building will be closed for 24–48 hours to allow the chemical process to work properly.
Phase 3: Cure & Finish
-
Sunday, Feb 22 – ONLINE-ONLY WORSHIP SERVICE
(The building will be completely inaccessible.) -
Mon–Tues, Feb 23–24 – Sealer applied and curing completed
Phase 4: The Big Reset
-
Saturday, Feb 28 (9:30 AM–12:00 PM) –
Sanctuary setup, untaping, decorating, and preparing for Spring -
Sunday, March 1 – 🎉 Grand Re-Opening of the Sanctuary!
🙌 Volunteer Teams (There’s a Place for Everyone)
To help everyone find the right fit, we’ve organized needs into three teams:
-
Tier 1 – Heavy Lifters: Moving furniture, chairs, and tables
-
Tier 2 – Technical Crew: Experience with sanders, grinders, or tools
-
Tier 3 – Detail & Prep Team: Taping, cleaning, decorating, and setup
You don’t need to be an expert, just willing and available.
❤️ Why This Matters
This project isn’t just about floors. It’s about stewarding what God has given us, creating a welcoming space, and serving together as the body of Christ. There’s something powerful about a church family rolling up their sleeves side-by-side in preparation for proclaiming the resurrection.
✍️ How to Sign Up
Sign-ups will be available at church, and you can also speak directly with leadership if you have questions or want help finding where you fit best.
Because of this effort, we have had to make a change to our calendar of events and activities. The Volunteer Recognition Luncheon planned for February 21 has been rescheduled for May 9.
Thank you, Bridge family, for your generosity, flexibility, and willingness to serve. We’re excited to see how God uses this season, and this project, to prepare us for all He wants to do this Easter.

The Refocused Life: Managing Technology
Series: Habits 2026
Date: January 25, 2026
Scripture: Genesis 1:28, Hebrews 12:1, Hebrews 4:14-16
ABOUT THIS MESSAGE Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master. In this message, we explore how to discipline our digital habits to fulfill our purpose rather than be distracted from it. We discuss the theology of technology, the weight of distraction, and how to model a life of presence just as Jesus did.
SERMON OUTLINE
1. The Theology of Technology (Genesis 1:28): Technology is not inherently evil; it is an outworking of the Cultural Mandate to "subdue the earth".
2. The Weight of Distraction (Hebrews 12:1): The digital life creates unnecessary weight that hinders our spiritual race.
3. Distraction from Purpose (Proverbs 12:11): We often use digital distractions to avoid work, people, and God.
4. The Incarnational Response (Hebrews 4:14-16): Jesus modeled a life of presence. We must prioritize being "right here, right now".
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
In what ways does your current use of technology distract you from your real work, relationships, or walk with God?
Do you primarily use digital technology to create and build, or to consume and escape?
Are you guilty of "phubbing" (snubbing people with your phone) family or friends?
Does your phone go to bed before you do, or is it the last thing you see at night?
If you have instant access to all knowledge, do you also seek the wisdom that comes only from God?
PRACTICAL CHALLENGES FOR 2026
The Digital Detox: Disconnect for one hour a day, one day a week, and one week a year.
Create, Don't Consume: Set up your environment to reward creativity rather than passive consumption.
Bedtime Boundaries: Phones go to bed before we do and wake up after we do.
The "WePad" Principle: Use technology together for a purpose instead of isolated scrolling.
