A Brief History of The Bridge Community Fellowship

The Bridge Community Fellowship began with a vision to “Connect Church with Daily Life" by creating a welcoming community where lives are transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ.

  • First Sunday Gathering: The church held its inaugural service in 2019, bringing together a group of believers eager to worship and grow in faith.

  • Early Gatherings: In its early days, The Bridge met in various locations, including local schools, fostering a sense of community and outreach.

  • Transition to Current Location: Recognizing the need for a dedicated space, The Bridge transitioned to its current property at 3700 FM 1378, Lucas, TX 75002. This move allowed for expanded ministries and a more permanent presence in the community.

  • Growth and Expansion: Over the years, The Bridge has seen growth, expanding its ministries, and continuing to serve the Lucas and surrounding communities with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Current Vision: Today, The Bridge Community Fellowship remains committed to its mission of connecting people to Jesus, each other, and the community. With ongoing programs, groups and events, the church continues to be a place where individuals and families can experience the power of the Gospel through personal transformation and fellowship.

Leadership at The Bridge

At The Bridge Community Fellowship, our team is made up of ordinary people who love Jesus and are committed to serving others with humility, joy, and authenticity.

We’re here to help you grow in faith, find meaningful community, and take your next step in following Jesus.

Each team member brings unique gifts, experiences, and passions but what unites us is a shared love for Christ, His Word, and His people. We invite you to get to know us and see how we can walk alongside you in your spiritual journey.

1. FORMATION

We believe Jesus changes people.

We want to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.

Through intentional discipleship, we’re learning to live as fully devoted followers of Jesus in everyday life.

2. COMMUNITY

We believe Jesus makes us family.

We want to share life together—eating, serving, praying, and caring for one another.

Through intentional community, everyone is known. Everyone is needed. No one stands alone.

3. MISSION

We believe Jesus loves our neighbors, and so do we.

We want to bring hope to our neighbors and the nations by serving with compassion and preaching the gospel with boldness.

Through intentional mission, where there is need, we show up. Where there is brokenness, we bring Christ.
