Why
Give?
Giving is an act of worship. It’s not about obligation or guilt—it’s about joyful gratitude. As Christians, we give because God first gave to us.

God has been extravagantly generous. He gave us the whole world in creation (Genesis 1:28–30), and when we fell into sin, He gave us His own Son for our salvation (John 3:16). Even now, He continues to give His Spirit to guide, comfort, and empower us (Romans 5:5). Our giving is a response to the overwhelming grace we’ve received.

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Giving is a practical way we participate in the mission of God through the local church. It helps support the preaching of the gospel, the care of people in need, and the advance of God’s kingdom in our city and beyond.
“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce.” (Proverbs 3:9)

We don’t give to earn God’s love—we give because we already have it in Jesus. Whether it’s a lot or a little, every gift offered in faith is pleasing to God and will be used for His glory.

Thank you for partnering with us in local and global ministry through your generosity! - Pastor Kyle Van Tine
